Hello to all. I'm considering getting a CC EP radio from ccrane. Does anyone here have experience with that radio? Also any experience with a sony srf-59 Walkman radio? I have the CC pocket radio which does pretty good. Note: it's not the pocket SW radio. That radio had way too much imaging on other channels so I returned it. I have a sangean pr-d15 which is good on FM but the AM audio is too muddy and bassy for me.
Hi.
I have got a sony portable radio which is very easy to use but i don't
remember the exact model.
I will have to find it out.
There is a dial for finding stations which looks analog but it's actually
digital. It is like a rocker swich which terns left and right but when you
don't touch it it comes back to its original possition.
When you tern it either left or right you hear or feel 2 clicks. The first click
moves to the frequencies slowly so you can adjust it exactly where you
want. At the second click it moves much faster.
When you move between the different frequencies you hear the stations
changing. It doesn't mute the sound like other digital radios so i like the
analogue impression it gives.
You have 10 presets on fm and 5 on am which is not much in my oppinion.
It is very easy to set a preset.
You just hold down the preset button you want for a few second and when
you hear a double beep then your preset is set.
The fm reception is good. On am i think it could be better.
I think that's about it with this radio.
Now we need to find the exact model lol.

Hello to all. I would defanatly recommend the ccrane CC EP radio to you all. It's 70 dollars on amazon but so well worth it. It's an analog radio so no clocks or presets or anything like that. The FM and AM reception are amazing. It's just like a car radio. Plus the audio quality is incredible as well. It has an awesome built in speaker and it sounds good on headphones as well.
What's the advantage of these? Aren't they just ghetto blasters?
I thought the way the CCrane radios were marketed, they had a crank generation system. They're just portables. Wondering what makes them $84 on Amazon?
Maybe I'm missing something.
Just to let everyone here know, the radio is more of a boom box if you will. It has no tape or CD player or anything like that. It's just an awesome radio. You can hook up your phone or computer or whatever you want to it as well.
